Fed Square Appoints new General Manager

FED SQUARE APPOINTS NEW GENERAL MANAGER TO LEAD BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND PROGRAMMING

Melbourne events specialist Suzana Bishop has joined the Fed Square team as General Manager Commercial and Public Engagement.

Ms Bishop will be part of Fed Square’s executive team and is responsible for leading programming, business development and marketing for the organisation.

With considerable experience in the events industry, Ms Bishop has held senior leadership roles with some of Melbourne’s most esteemed organisations including the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC), The Australian Grand Prix and The Royal Agriculture Society (Royal Melbourne Show).

During her time as General Manager of the Club Melbourne Ambassador Program at MCEC, Ms Bishop led the rebranding and relaunch of the prestigious program responsible for attracting international business events to the City of Melbourne.

A passionate advocate for the tourism and visitor economy, Ms Bishop is an alumni of the Committee for Melbourne’s Future Focus Group program, has a Masters in Advertising and is currently undertaking an Executive MBA, both at RMIT University.
