To be recognised internationally as a contemporary world site and Melbourne’s inspirational public space.

To manage and develop Fed Square to actively support and reflect Melbourne’s pre-eminent civic and cultural strengths.

An announcement of Fed Square’s $5.4million New Digital Experience Initiative, will take place on Tuesday 29 August at 10am on the stage at Fed Square.

Due to launch in late April 2018, a sculptural wall of interactive LED panels on the Transport Hotel building will create one of the world’s first outdoor digital art galleries.  Programming will be driven by user-generated initiatives, commissioned artworks and a community engagement program, while also retaining the capacity to broadcast live sport, current affairs and films.
