Federation Square’s Education Program, Fed Ed actively engages primary and secondary school students in the civic and cultural life of Melbourne through the delivery of educational packages including tours, workshops and teacher support manuals to complement onsite exhibitions, events and festivals. School tours at Federation Square operate daily can be tailored to suit the specific needs of your group.

Be a part of Fed Square’s annual winter program The light in Winter which brings together local and international artists, designers, architects, filmmakers and multicultural groups for a month long series of light art, performances, workshops and a vibrant schools’ program.

Directed by Robyn Archer,this year’s program draws inspiration from the National Year of Reading and celebrates the way that reading enlightens us.

The schools’ program is aimed at students from prep through to VCE and embraces art, design and creative writing, with the opportunity to tailor workshops
to each year level.
