Opportunities

 

Event Coordinator – Level 2 

 

The Marketing and Program team is responsible for maintaining visitation levels from key local, interstate and international markets as well as delivering a world class program of activities including events and activities.

 

Opportunity has arisen for an Events Coordinator – Level 2 (medium/significant crowd size/risk profile) in the Program Team.

 

Reporting to the Program Manager Events, responsibilities will include coordinating and developing medium and high level risk profile event delivery, risk management procedures, event booking enquiries, event acquisition and retention, and community and cultural programs and relationships.

 

Skills required include; at least 4 years experience in an events environment, event coordination and logistics, relevant software applications (EBMS/Ungerboeck Software preferred, strong communication (including written) and interpersonal skills, familiarity with budgeting procedures, excellent time management, willingness and aptitude to help establish community and corporate event related networks.

 

Package $64,000pa including superannuation. Some out of hours work and availability for after hours contact is required.
