Marketing Content Producer


The Marketing and Program team is responsible for maintaining profile and engagement levels from key local, interstate and international markets as well as delivering a world class program of activities and events.


In the context of the Fed Square Marketing Plan a new position has been developed to meet the needs of a content marketing strategy largely in response to the contemporary media landscape rendering it necessary for internal expertise to create transmedia images, video, concise messaging and consistent branding to tell stories and communicate across multiple channels. This position will be responsible for fast turnaround production in order to deliver high quality communications and promotional pieces from conceptualisation to creation and distribution.


Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, the appointee will be responsible for developing media that communicates to Fed Square’s audiences both online and offline. The successful candidate will be a passionate media and communications professional with an artistic and strategic approach and strong technical skills. This role is essentially an internal reporter, telling Fed Square’s diverse stories for multiple channels.


Requirements include strong digital marketing experience, including use of relevant tools; relevant tertiary qualification with at least 3 years experience in a similar role;  demonstrated experience in media production; capacity to operate multimedia and program software; a dynamic portfolio of work showcasing professional production values and the ability to translate ideas into outstanding visual storytelling; a modern sense of the user experience, user interface, and visual aesthetics; demonstrated ability with cameras, shooting techniques and a solid understanding of production work flows, video and photographic formats, and publishing for the web/screen.


Package $75,000pa including superannuation. Occasional out of hours work and availability for afterhours work is required.
