See the world premiere of JUMP - an artistic interpretation of a child’s bouncy castle by British artist Stuart Semple.
The 10m x 10m public installation is about space, human interaction and motion. When its not populated by jumping participants, JUMP will look like nothing more than a big, white platform, but once people begin to step up onto its bouncy surface, the installation comes to life with movement and energy.
Stuart Semple is an internationally-acclaimed visual artist and curator whose works have featured in biennales, major art fairs and many solo exhibitions in Europe, China and USA.
At just 32, Stuart has an extensive portfolio of artworks spanning across 13 years in the industry. He is best known for his ambitious and emotive public pieces including the aerial installation of Happy Clouds in Milan and the mixed media piece EXIT – an EP of music, art and film that Semple released on iTunes, making him one the first visual artists to premiere work on the commercial platform.
JUMP is presented by Fed Square's Creative Program and Creative Production Services.
