Harry Potter meets Blade Runner in Melbourne’s ultimate hidden-laneway dining and leisure experience. Enter through the secret doorway on Platform 13 at Flinders St Station, relish four exquisite courses by food-scene matriarchs Tokyo Tina, and explore a surreal, futuristic, multi-sensory living installation – where art is to be heard, touched and tasted.
The Winter Village is a euro-style winter wonderland atop the Skyline Terrace at Fed Square that will pop-up from May 2 through to the end of August 2019. Set to be Melbourne’s landmark destination this winter, The Winter Village will be equipped with an ice skating rink, a cozy igloo village, a larger-than-life mega igloo where it snows on the hour, a Graze kitchen and a Sip bar. Melburnians can look forward to speciality winter-themed food and beverage menus, pop-up bars, after-dark activations with local Melbourne DJs, competitions and private igloo experiences galore!
White Night Reimagined
Taking place in Melbourne’s streets and laneways, parklands, public spaces and more, White Night is a city-wide festival of lights and projections, street performances, art installations, films, exhibitions, music, dance and interactive events. It’s a Melbourne darling and annual favourite comparable to New Year’s Eve and the swan-song event for Anything But Square Festival.
Deep beneath Fed Square is a twisting labyrinth of corridors and hideaways, transformed for the festival into Melbourne’s most unique and extraordinary sensory art, music and performance experience. A living gallery of the best the city has to offer, exclusive to you for 1 day only!
An extraordinary garden of hundreds of hand-knitted, woollen flowers, created by Lynn Berry OAM and contributors following the tremendous success of 5000 Poppies. Hung in Fed Square, creating a vibrant woollen jungle to brighten Melbourne’s winter, the Winter Garden is a creative visual delight!
