Through a vibrant calendar of award-winning exhibitions, films, festivals, live events, creative workshops, school holiday programs and Collection resources, ACMI provides diverse audiences with unsurpassed ways to engage with the moving image.

Since opening the doors in 2002, ACMI has established and cemented a reputation as one of the world’s leading moving image centres and is internationally recognised for its commitment to bringing excellence and innovation in world film and digital media to Australian audiences.

Entry to ACMI’s permanent exhibition, Screen Worlds: The Story of Film, Television and Digital Culture is free, although charges apply for film screenings and some temporary exhibitions.
