World Environment Day - Concept Call Out

World Environment Day – Concept Call Out
Monday 3 June 2019

This year, Fed Square is handing World Environment Day OVER TO YOU!

Fed Square is calling for events from individual and group musicians, theatre producers, filmmakers, academics, scientists, thinkers, policy makers, artists and other creatives for a stage and screen-based event in the Main Square.

The opportunity involves pitching an event that explores your positive spin on this year’s World Environment Day theme, ‘Beat Plastic Pollution’.

Eligible entry ideas received by 5 pm Friday 26 April 2019 will then be presented on Fed Square’s website for public vote. The entry with the highest amount of public votes will be selected.

If selected you will have access to the Main Stage, Digital Façade and ‘hard costs’
to produce your event.

Examples of free events that would suit this opportunity:
  • Concerts
  • Performance program (e.g. roving, busker, dance, cultural)
  • Artwork (screen based, sculptural)
  • Public forum
  • Film screening program
  • Speaking event
  • A mixture of all of the above

Closing date: 5pm Friday 26 April 2019
